I am so thankful that, because of people like you, I am free.   

I truly appreciate my freedom, especially in these trying times. Many restless nights are spent without much sleep as I think about inmates who are still wrongly incarcerated. It is an unimaginable burden for them. 

But I am exceedingly pleased  to report that—because of you and  your support—we are currently working on four (4) cases to free wrongfully-convicted, wrongfully-imprisoned prisoners.  Our team, that you make possible, has researched many cases and we are firmly committed to freeing the wrongly convicted.  In my heart, I truly wish that they could be enjoying the freedom that I enjoy … as soon as possible without another day of delay. 

We don’t ask for funding all the time but next Tuesday is Giving Tuesday. Your support of Miracle of Innocence allows us to provide the legal support needed to free the wrongfully-convicted, wrongfully-incarcerated prisoners we have identified, and consider additional cases. With 1% to 3% of the prison population wrongfully convicted, that’s 23,000 to 69,000 people unjustly imprisoned. Can you imagine how it feels to be innocent and thrown in prison like I was or like Andy Dufresne in The Shawshank Redemption? The process for fighting against injustice can easily exceed a hundred thousand dollars in legal fees for each case. So most often these innocent people are left to rot in prison.
